The Denver Area Music Teachers Association (DAMTA) is a local chapter of the Colorado State Music Teachers Association, affiliated with the Music Teachers National Association.
The next DAMTA event is October 26:
Fall Course Part 3: Keyboard Music of the Baroque: guiding students toward a stylistically appropriate and musically expressive performance.
Join us for our third installment of our fall course presented by Karin Buer.
This presentation will provide a general overview of the pedagogical challenges of Baroque repertoire, and it will explore the ways in which teachers can address historical context, affect and expression, in a way that directly impacts the students' perception and consequence performance of the works at hand.
Time: 10:00 a.m.
Location: 1320 S. Broadway, Denver
