The Denver Area Music Teachers Association (DAMTA) is a local chapter of the Colorado State Music Teachers Association, affiliated with the Music Teachers National Association.

Membership Meeting and Fall Course 2014: The Budding Composer
Join us for our first membership meeting of the 2014-2015 year! This will be followed by our first installment of the 2014 Fall Course, Teaching Composition: Bringing creativity into the teacher's studio.
Join CU Boulder Professor of Composition Daniel Kellogg as he presents "The Budding Composer." Dan will present various approaches, dynamic and fun exercises, analysis ideas and listening suggestions to motivate and guide the rising musician.

We are gearing up for a new year of innovative pedagogical presentations! If you are a DAMTA member sign up for our Fall Course by clicking here. You will have to print the form, fill it out, and send a check to our treasurer. Sign up by August 1 and you will receive our promotional DAMTA member rate!
