Welcome to the Denver Area Music Teachers' Association!
Our Mission:
- To promote excellence in the teaching of music by offering learning opportunities in pedagogy and the basic knowledge of music;

- To provide opportunity for exchange of ideas and materials;
- To foster fellowship among our members

The Denver Area Music Teachers Association (DAMTA) is a local chapter of the Colorado State Music Teachers Association, affiliated with the Music Teachers National Association.
The next DAMTA event is February 10:
Membership Meeting and Program: New Repertoire and Teaching Materials
Come join us for our February membership meeting followed by a program given by Liane Rockley of Rockley Music. Liane is an actively involved member of MTNA and local music teachers associations. She has a degree in Flute Performance form the Kansas City Conservatory of Music and is Vice President of Rockley Music.
Liane will be presenting new repertoire and teaching materials. She selects the finest materials that arrive at the store, and provides a presentation, with the support of DAMTA members who volunteer to play the newly released music.

We are gearing up for a new year of innovative pedagogical presentations! If you are a DAMTA member sign up for our Fall Course by clicking here. You will have to print the form, fill it out, and send a check to our treasurer. Sign up by August 1 and you will receive our promotional DAMTA member rate!
